This innovative roof light not only provides excellent illumination but also offers a practical utility feature, ensuring safe and convenient access to your flat roof. The special hinges and functional opening system allow the sash to open up to 80 degrees effortlessly. Equipped with gas springs, the sash remains stable in the open position, preventing accidental closures and enhancing safety. Additionally, anti-slip covers on the profiles further increase the safety of use.
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the domed access roof light features our P2 Double Glazed unit, which boasts superior insulation parameters with a U-Value of 0.88 W/m²K (glass U-Value 1.1W/m²K), as per EN1873.2014 standards. The acoustic rating of 35Db (-1.-3) ensures a quieter indoor environment. The flat access roof light’s proven design guarantees high mechanical performance, while its modern aesthetic seamlessly blends with standard flat roof windows. Both internal and external accessories can be installed in the same manner as for flat roof windows, offering versatility and ease of use.
Constructed from multi-chamber PVC profiles filled with insulation material, the frame of this flat roof window is designed for optimal performance. The unique profile shape provides up to 16% more glazed area compared to competing solutions. Suitable for installation in roofs with pitches between 0° and 15°, the type C flat access roof light can also be set in an additional 15cm high XRD base, making it adaptable for various roof types, including green roofs. Up to two XRD bases can be connected for added flexibility. External awning blinds protect against overheating, while internal accessories shield from intense sunlight and enhance interior design.
