This double-sided butyl tape is compatible with most common building materials and helps you achieve airtight and watertight seals that can also withstand humidity and chemicals.
Tyvek Butyl Tape is most effective when used under compression– for example, under a timber batten. It is recommended for perimeters, chimneys and abutments, and also for sealing nail penetrations and around electrical sockets.
